Delete your account & data
Idunia is operated by Max Output LLC (North Carolina).
You can delete your Idunia account and the data tied to it at any time. This page explains what gets deleted, what we keep (and why), and how to request deletion if you can no longer open the app.
Delete from inside the app (fastest)
Open Settings → Account → Delete my account and data. After a two-step confirmation, the app:
- Deletes your server-side account and data first, including your subscription record with our billing provider.
- Then wipes your on-device cycle/reproductive data (it is stored only on your phone, never on our servers).
Deletion is irreversible. The server step runs first on purpose: it fails safely and can be retried, while erasing the reproductive data on your phone cannot be undone, so nothing is destroyed locally until the server has accepted the deletion. A deletion is never reported as finished when it is not.
One case is worth knowing about. If the server step succeeds and the on-device wipe then fails, the app tells you the deletion did not finish. Your account is already deleted on our side, and tapping delete again will not work, because there is no longer an account to delete. Your cycle history may still be on that phone. To remove it, delete cycle history in the app, or uninstall the app from that device. If you are unsure what state you are in, email founders@maxoutput.ai and we will confirm what is deleted on our side.
Request deletion without the app
If you have uninstalled the app, changed phones, or otherwise cannot reach the in-app control, email founders@maxoutput.ai from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my Idunia account.” We verify ownership of the account email, then delete your server-side data. We respond as soon as we can and no later than 45 days.
Note: cycle/reproductive data lives only on your device and never reaches us, so we cannot delete it remotely. Remove it by deleting cycle history in the app or by uninstalling the app from that device.
What is deleted
- Your account (login/authentication record).
- Your profile (age, height, weight, optional body-fat %, activity level, settings).
- Your nutrition data — logged meals, food items, saved meals, daily totals, and your per-day micronutrient records.
- Your training and body data — logged sessions, hydration, supplements, and the body metrics you entered.
- Your day notes, including anything you wrote in them.
- Your consent records tied to your account.
- Your feedback, including any message or screenshot you sent us from inside the app.
- Your subscription record with RevenueCat, our billing provider.
- Your on-device cycle/reproductive data, when you delete from inside the app or uninstall it.
What is retained, and why
- A deletion record (metadata only). When an account is deleted we keep a small, append-only log entry — the fact that a deletion happened, when, the method, and the categories removed. It contains no health data and no meal, training, body, or cycle content. We keep it as the legal record that your deletion request was honored.
- Encrypted backups. Deleted data is removed from active systems promptly and purged from backups within 90 days.
We do not sell or share your data, and we have no advertising, analytics, or tracking software in the app, so no advertising, analytics, or tracking company holds a copy to recall. The service providers that do hold data for us are deleted along with your account, as described above. With your consent, which is asked before first use and can be turned off anytime in Settings → Privacy & legal → AI meal logging, our parsing provider AWS (Amazon Bedrock) receives the inputs you choose to provide: the meal text you type, a meal photo you submit, the text of a recipe page you share into the app, and the training description you type when you ask for a suggestion. Only the input you provide is sent. It is not tagged with your name or email, and no cycle or body data is included. Under AWS's terms it is not used to train its models and is not shared with third-party model providers.
